Dr. Ashley Kelley | Oak Cliff
Chiropractic is the first step to prevention. It is the highlight of my public health background. Both are mirror images of each other and, not a lot of people know the benefits. I feel becoming a chiropractor helps me bridge the gap. I am here to serve as a vessel to those in underserved communities while educating on the holistic effects of full body wellness and rehabilitation.
I enjoy giving people the holistic option to a pain free life. However, my favorite part is witnessing the growth of each individual. Seeing the smiles on each patient's face as they report relief.
I love how generous and kind everyone here is. There are so many positive spirits around daily. I love working with my staff because, we all share the same goals. I also love the free lunches during our monthly meetings and the culture boxes. That gives me time to truly bond with my staff and I cherish those memories!
My journey started at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland, where I graduated with a B.S in Biology. There, I received a full-ride my junior and senior year as an NIH scholar while participating in active cancer research on campus. After matriculating, I completed my Masters in Public Health with a concentration in global health at The University of Texas Health Science Center- MD Anderson in Houston, Texas. My studies in epidemiology and prevention led me to Parker University in Dallas, Texas where I completed my Doctorate in Chiropractic. In addition, I also received two additional Bachelor degrees including a, B.S in Human Anatomy, and B.S in Health and Wellness. The correlations between both public health and chiropractic are almost mirror images. I knew my purpose was to be an advocate for public health and chiropractic in underserved communities. I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas where I have resided in Oak Cliff majority of my life. There are so many communities in the southern region of Dallas that are not educated on the benefits of chiropractic. My purpose in my community is to serve and be a vessel for others so that they may have many options to live a healthier life. When I am not practicing chiropractic, I am spending time with my family and enjoying life. I have a husband and a 3-year-old son. I enjoy traveling, reading, and participating in church activities.
